All methods work well here, ledgering is popular for the larger fish although this is a beautiful lake to float fish. Fish are generally evenly spread and don’t forget the margins.

Bait.

Maggot, caster, bread, corn, worm, paste etc. groundbait limited to 1kg.

Capacity

24 pegs

Please fish from marked swims only, failure to comply will result in the confiscation of membership cards. May be returned on application to the committee.

Note the first three pegs on the dam wall are for disabled anglers, any member can fish them, but if a disabled angler turns up and wishes to fish one of them you are obliged to move.

Walk along the left-hand bank  and just before the island, you will find peg two, on the opposite side is peg 25. This is the shallow end of the lake and produces well in the warmer months. You must not fish beyond these designated pegs or past the island.

A toilet is situated in the car park and toilet paper is provided. There is now a combination lock on the toilet and the number is shown on your club card. Please leave this facility clean and tidy and lock after use.
