Our old Data Protection Act 1998 has been replaced with the EU General Data Protection Regulations often referred to as the GDPR.
Colnes Angling Society is the data controller for the purpose of GDPR. The Club Secretary and Treasurer are tasked with dealing with all membership data. We process personal data necessary to administer our membership records and provide services and benefits to members as a recreational Angling Club. Information retained by the club is confined to name and address of the member, email address and age group, ie Junior, Senior and Senior Citizens. No other special categories are retained. These details are as supplied on membership stubs and are retained for a maximum of 2 years after which they are destroyed
