2025/2026 MEMBERSHIP CARDS (updated 21/03 2026)
The 2025/26 membership cards are now available, at the same price as last year from all our outlets, details under the website heading how to join. membership is due on the 01st April. Details of the new lock numbers are shown on the club cards.
WET & SLIPPERY BANKS (updated 04/03/2024)
Following the sustained wet weather the banks have become very slippery, with a member sustaining a broken ankle yesterday after slipping on mud. Please take extra care and if possible avoid fishing alone, have a mobile phone with you at all times (making sure you have a signal) Please also avoid long walks and choose a peg that is not muddy. PLEASE BE SAFE!
SUSPECTED SKULLDUGGERY (updated 27/02/2024)
The Committee have been made aware of suspected fish thefts at Boley Road. With the alleged suspect/s fishing overnight. Please be vigilant when at this venue and remember each club member on production of their club card can challenge anyone fishing to see theirs. Any photographic evidence would be beneficial and any suspected wrongdoings should be reported to the Committee.
RIVER COLNE (updated 09/02/2024)
Due to considerable problems with access, combined with dwindling fish stocks, the club has sadly decided not to renew our option on the River Colne with effect from the 31st March 2024. This effectively means 14th March 2024 will be last day the water can be fished on our club ticket. This water was a considerable asset for the club for a great number of years but unfortunately proved increasingly difficult to maintain.
