This is an established lake of 20 years plus. There is a good depth of water near the edge of the lake, dropping to 8 to 10ft in the centre, and the depth is fairly uniform across the lake.
Species
A good head of rudd and roach with a head of small carp between 4 and 6lb with the largest being in the region of 10 /12lb. In excess of 3000 Skimmer Bream weighing up to a pound were stocked in March 2015.
Baits
Maggots, corn, bread and luncheon meat are suggested but its early days.

There are approximately 18 pegs.
Directions
From Marks Tey take the A120 towards Stanstead after leaving the speed restriction take the 1st left in to Elm Lane, or if you are coming from the Braintree direction it is on the right about 2 miles from the Coggeshall bypass just past Salmons Lane ( NOTE on the approach from both directions this road has a blue sign with a 7.5 ton weight restriction and there is a blacksmith sign on the left as you turn in. Once in Elm Lane travel for about 0.8 of a mile (300 yards past the black barn conversion) turn left in to Domsey Chase,(currently there is a Robert Dewar sign plus a second blue sign with AMEC on it) travel down the single track concrete road to the farm, take a sharp left then right, then left between the last 2 buildings. From Feering at the green take the road signposted The Teys after about 2 miles Domsey Chase is on the right ( then the same directions as above apply.
Parking is available adjacent to the lake PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN FRONT OF THE BUILDINGS OR IN THE TRACK TO THE FIELD ( This is used at all times) – NOTE THIS IS A WORKING FARM AND VEHICLES ARE LEFT AT THE OWNERS RISK AND MUST PARK IN THE CAR PARK ( SO PLEASE PARK SENSIBLY AS WE ARE NOT THE ONLY USER)
